چکیده

The main focus of this paper is to presents comparative principal problems of bibliographies on the linearization of Load Flow equations, network outages and the interdependence among nodal power injections. These methods classified as simulation method, analytical method, or by a combination of both are used to obtain the mean and variance of Power Line Flow. Key-Words: Cumulative Distribution Function (CDF), Probabilistic Density Function (PDF), Deterministic Load Flow(DLF), Monte Carlo Simulations (MCS), Probabilistic Load Flow (PLF), Stochastic Load Flow (SLF).

Probabilistic Multi Objective Optimal Reactive Power Dispatch Considering Load Uncertainties Using Monte Carlo Simulations

Optimal Reactive Power Dispatch (ORPD) is a multi-variable problem with nonlinear constraints and continuous/discrete decision variables. Due to the stochastic behavior of loads, the ORPD requires a probabilistic mathematical model. In this paper, Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) is used for modeling of load uncertainties in the ORPD problem. The problem is formulated as a nonlinear constrained mul...

A Probabilistic Three-Phase Time Domain Electric Arc Furnace Model based on analytical method

An electric arc furnace (EAF) is known as nonlinear and time variant load that causes power quality (PQ) problems such as, current, voltage and current harmonics, voltage flicker, frequency changes in power system. One of the most important problems to study the EAF behavior is the choice of a suitable model for this load. Hence, in this paper, a probabilistic three-phase model is proposed base...

Optimal Locating and Sizing of Unified Power Quality Conditioner- phase Angle Control for Reactive Power Compensation in Radial Distribution Network with Wind Generation

In this article, a multi-objective planning is demonstrated for reactive power compensation in radial distribution networks with wind generation via unified power quality conditioner (UPQC). UPQC model, based on phase angle control (PAC), is used. In presented method, optimal locating of UPQC-PAC is done by simultaneous minimizing of objective functions such as: grid power loss, percentage of n...

A Multi-Year Scenario-Based Transmission Expansion Planning Model Incorporating Available Transfer Capability

This paper presents a multi-year scenario-based methodology for transmission expansion planning (TEP) in order to enhance the available transfer capability (ATC). The ATC is an important factor for all players of electricity market who participate in power transaction activities and can support the competition and nondiscriminatory access to transmission lines among all market participants. The...

A New Algorithm for Load Flow Analysis in Autonomous Networks

In this paper, a novel algorithm for the load flow analysis problem in an islanded microgrid is proposed. The problem is modeled without any slack bus by considering the steady state frequency as one of the load flow variables. To model different control modes of DGs, such as droop, PV and PQ, in an islanded microgrid, a new formula for load flow equations is proposed. A hybrid optimization alg...
